My artistic process begins with traditional mediums - the fluidity of watercolors and the boldness of ink. These foundational techniques have been honed over decades, allowing me to create illustrations that are rich in texture and depth. Each stroke and wash captures the essence of my subjects, drawing inspiration from the diverse and vibrant landscapes of Southeast Asia.
The magic unfolds further as I integrate these traditional creations from black ink .005 pens and combine them with digital effects. This crossover is where my expertise as a digital artist shines. By enhancing my hand-drawn illustrations with digital tools, I add layers of complexity and contemporary flair. This fusion results in a distinctive style that is both nostalgic and cutting-edge.
