An animated short. A gold coin rolls down a chute into a coin funnel, the kind that used to stand in grocery stores. Each orbit of the funnel is one year. The first orbit takes about seven seconds. Every orbit after it is smaller and quicker, until the coin is whirling around the hole and drops in at year eighty. Its path stays behind as a spiral, with the years marked along one line from the rim to the hole.
